The best projects of the master's thesis cohort of winter semester 2025/26 are now documented and available online in the portfolio of the Department of Architecture at TU Darmstadt.

During the winter semester 2025/26, four design topics were addressed: The department of Design and Building Typology (Prof. Elke Reichel) set the task of designing a marine research centre in Stralsund with “Ein Quantum Meer”. The department of Design and Housing (Prof. Dr. Martino Tattara) explored models of temporary housing for disadvantaged population groups in Brussels with “The Brussels Social Hotel”. The department of Design and Urban Planning (Prof. Dr. Martin Knöll) investigated the transformation of a historic urban entrance area in Bad Kissingen with “Ochsenkathedrale”. In addition, six graduates worked on independently developed individual topics within the framework of Free Master's Theses – supervised by the departments of Digital Design, Design and Architectural Composition, Design and Building Typology, and Design and Urban Development.
