Maylin Yuka's research “A Case Study of Metro Entrance ‘Münchener Straße’: Urban Design Exploration to Access Transport Hubs” presented at the conference “Staying with the Trouble – 25 years of research on women and gender studies in Hesse”.
The research (opens in new tab) investigates whether public transport entrance design can contribute to a perception of fear. The study was carried out as Maylin's Masters research module at the TU Darmstadt – Faculty of Architecture, and was supervised by Dr. -Ing Anshika Suri. “A Case Study of Metro Entrance ‘Münchener Straße’: Urban Design Exploration to Access Transport Hubs”
The project was selected for poster exhibition at the conference “Staying with the Trouble – 25 years of research on women and gender studies in Hesse”, organised to commemorate the focus on women and gender research in Hessen since 1995 by the . Hessian Ministry of Science and Art (HMWK)
The conference was jointly organised by the Goethe-Universität Frankfurt a. M. () and the Frankfurt University for Applied Sciences ( Cornelia Goethe Centrum (CGC)), with support from the HMWK. Gender- und Frauenforschungszentrum der hessischen Hochschulen (gFFZ)
