

Anna Luise Schubert is an architectural researcher, curator and filmmaker. She is a board member of the Centre for Documentary Architecture (CDA), an interdisciplinary research collective that explores buildings as historical documents. With the CDA, she co-conceived their online archive project (documentary-architecture.org, since 2019), produced the exhibition series “The Matter of Data” in Weimar (2019), Tel Aviv (2019), Berlin (2020), Prague (2022) and Porto (2022) and worked on internationally presented films such as the 8-screen video installation “Deep White” (35min, 2019) and the documentary shorts “Umzugsgut” (35min, 2017), “3 Hours by Car” (5min, 2019) and “Bauhaus Beeline” (2min, 2020).
She was a research associate at the Chair of Architectural Theory and Science at the TU Darmstadt from 2019 to 2022 where she co-organized the international conference “Are You a Model? On an Architectural Medium of Spatial Exploration” (2022). Previously, she worked for the ARCH+ magazine and the architectural office Oda Pälmke. She is founding member of the Förderverein Palast der Republik e.V. in Berlin.
