Current urgent questions require critical historical and theoretical investigation of architecture as social, political and aesthetic practice. Especially the interrelations of architecture with politics, art, economics and technology are at stake here. In our teaching we trace current issues to references and discourses in theory and history to arrive at an informed and critical position—as neither building nor writing can ever remain neutral.
