As a non-profit and non-governmental organization, the German Sustainable Building Council – DGNB e.V. sees its task as developing and promoting ways and solutions for sustainable planning, construction and use of buildings. The focus of its work is the expansion of its certification system with the award of the Sustainable Building seal of approval at various quality levels.
Through the Academy, the DGNB offers all interested parties an introduction to this subject area with the Registered Professional (DGNB RP), which is documented with a certificate. As a member of the DGNB university cooperation, the department offers this examination every semester.
