Designing Resilience Global 2025: International Competition Launches

On February 21, 2025, the new round of the international competition “Designing Resilience Global 2025” will kick off with an online event. The focus is on sustainable urban design for Changzhou Island in Guangzhou.

The international competition “Designing Resilience Global 2025 (DRIA)” kicks off with the theme “A Tale of an Island on Pearl River.” The goal of the competition is to design innovative and sustainable solutions for the urban development of Changzhou Island in Guangzhou, China.

The first events in the competition include a virtual kickoff on February 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM (Zoom), followed by an in-person kickoff meeting in Darmstadt from March 25 to 26, 2025. The main project presentations will take place from June 27 to July 1, 2025, in Guangzhou.

The competition brings together international experts, students, and professionals to develop sustainable strategies for resilient urban development. More information about participation and event details will be provided soon.
