Here you will find all the important information about the start of the winter semester.
he orientation week will take place from October 6 to 10, 2025. We would like to especially highlight the information session by the Study Office on Tuesday, October 7, from 2:00–4:30 pm, as well as the “Kick-off” event and the following seminar fair on Wednesday, October 8, starting at 2:00 pm in the Kuhle. More details can be found in the orientation week schedule below.

The design and seminar selection takes place online via Moodle. The course is open for self-enrollment. Registration is only possible once the selection process begins.
- The selection opens on Wed, 08.10.25, at 2:30 pm.
- It closes on Thu, 09.10. at 4:55 am.
- The results will be announced by Mon, 13.10.25 at the latest.

New Building Plan
The department building is being renovated. Since March 2025, several departments and facilities have relocated within the building.

Study Office Information Session
The Study Office will provide information about study organization topics: digital tools such as the course catalog (TUCaN) and seminar selection (Moodle), the new bilingual Master’s program, building renovations, exam registration, university elections, and gender equality. A Q&A session will follow.
