The Wednesday evening lectures in the summer semester 2025

The series opens on May 21 with Floris De Bruyn from the Ghent-based architecture firm GAFPA, who will provide insights into his office’s working methods under the title “Observations on Type.”
On May 28, Charlotte von Moos from Sauter von Moos (Basel/Miami) will present selected projects in her lecture “Some Fragments.”
The program continues on June 4 with Thibault Barrault from the Parisian firm Barrault Pressacco, who will discuss approaches to a new material culture in his lecture “Wallness – Towards new transparencies.”
A special highlight follows on June 11 with the farewell lecture of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Dettmar. Under the title “Rasender Stillstand,” he will reflect on his work and research at the Chair of Design and Open Space Planning, which he has led since 2001.
On June 18, Nicole Kerstin Berganski and Andreas Krawczyk from the Frankfurt-based office NKBAK will provide insights into their material-oriented architectural practice with their lecture “Holz und so weiter…”
The series concludes on June 25 with Juliane Greb (Büro Juliane Greb, Ghent/Cologne), who will speak about new perspectives on communal living and affordable housing in her lecture “Wechseljahre.”
Participation and further education:
The events are open to the public and free of charge. They take place in person.
Participation is recognised as further training by the Chamber of Architects and Town Planners of Hesse.
