Digital Design For Novel Concrete Materialization

See the results of the DDU design studio. Participants designed and prototyped innovative concrete formwork systems that use resource-efficient strategies to make new shapes of concrete elements possible. The work is based on rotoforming concrete in hyperelastic membranes, a process developed by the Digital Design Unit (DDU) of the Technische Universität Darmstadt.
Final jury with Moritz Dörstelmann and Vasily Sitnikov Friday, Feb 22. 10am to 3pm. Exhibition from Feb 25 to Mar 01, 10 am to 4 pm.
