Computer Pool

The Computer Pool is the IT division at the department. From an organisational perspective, it is assigned to the Dean’s Office and supervised by the IT Working Group. The Computer Pool is responsible for the IT hardware and software structures in the department and operates, amongst other things, the service pool of small and large-format printers.

The Computer Pool designs, realises and operates the IT hardware and software structures used for study, research, teaching and administration. This includes the servers, network, workstation systems, peripheral devices and service provision.

It is funded by the department and university, as well as by special funding and third party funding.

The team at the Computer Pool comprises employees, the secretariat and student assistants.

The administration and service departments and the workshop are located on the ground floor on the south-west side of the building. The computer rooms can be found on the ground floor on the east-west side of the building and on the third floor on the north-west side of the building.

11.00 AM to 12.00 AM

The helpdesk supports students and employees of the Department of Architecture (FB15) with any questions and issues, e.g. with laptops.
