Städtewachstum und Lebensqualität
In view of the climate crisis, war and growing social inequality, it is worth critically questioning the concept of “quality of life” in cities. In addition to the challenges it poses, it also offers the opportunity to define positive, unifying objectives in planning.
The aim of the lecture series is to look at the consequences of the diverse problems and ongoing urban growth from different perspectives. To what extent is the quality of life of citizens positively or negatively influenced by this and how do we react to this in architecture, urban development, urban planning and landscape architecture.
The event is designed as a lecture series in which professors and lecturers from Department E are involved.
