New DFG Research Training Group “Organising Architectures” starts.

12 positions for doctoral candidates and 2 postdocs.

The new research training group at Goethe Uni Frankfurt and TU Darmstadt, Organising Architectures, opens its doors on 1 November 2024. This interdisciplinary research project, funded by the German Research Foundation, investigates the collective organisational processes of architectures (with)in institutions, networks and discourses, as well as their social effects. The University of Kassel, the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory and the German Architecture Museum are also partners in this project.

The research training group will advertise 12 doctoral positions (75%) with a term of four years and two postdoctoral positions (100%) with a term of four and a half years in the coming weeks. Applications from the disciplines of architecture and art history, media studiey, history, law, sociology, human geography, political science and urban planning are welcome.
