Hessisian State Prize for Universal Design 2024: Award Ceremony

Every two years, the Hessian State Prize for Universal Design 2024 recognises outstanding projects that use innovative approaches to make everyday life, working life and infrastructure more accessible, comfortable and aesthetic. A total of 14 awards were presented at Formnext at the Messe Frankfurt.

First place went to the urban planning masterplan “Biebrich blüht auf – Ein klimaresilientes Quartier für Alle” – Neuplanung des Bahnhofsquartiers Wiesbaden-Biebrich by Manuela Krug, Paula Pinkepank and Lea Weckert (Technical University of Darmstadt)

Prof. Dr Sabine Hopp from UDP was a judge for the HSUD 2024 award.
