2025/06/02
The Department of Architecture at TU Darmstadt invites prospective students to apply for the Master’s Program in Architecture by July 15. New: The program can now be studied in German and/or English.

The Master’s Program in Architecture at the Department of Architecture at Technische Universität Darmstadt offers an advanced, project-based education closely linked to research, theory, and practice. At the core of the program is architectural and urban design, taught as an integrated approach combining design, technology, theory, and aesthetics.
Climate change, resource scarcity, migration, and digitalization directly impact our built environment – presenting us with new challenges. We believe that architecture can offer high-quality, thoughtful, and locally grounded responses to these challenges. That’s why our program not only promotes technical expertise but also encourages critical thinking and independent reflection. For us, architecture emerges from the interplay of technical, creative, social, and cultural perspectives. We support students in developing their own stance – and becoming aware of their responsibility for the environment, the city, and society.
Starting this winter semester, the program can be studied bilingually. Courses will be offered in German, English, or in a bilingual format. This gives students greater flexibility in shaping their individual studies and opens the program to a broader international audience.
Prospective students can apply now until July 15 to begin their studies in the upcoming winter semester.
