Commemorating 25 years of Research Focus on Women and Gender Studies in Hessen

Maylin Yuka's research “A Case Study of Metro Entrance ‘Münchener Straße’: Urban Design Exploration to Access Transport Hubs” presented at the conference „Staying with the Trouble – 25 years of research on women and gender studies in Hesse“.

The research „A Case Study of Metro Entrance ‘Münchener Straße’: Urban Design Exploration to Access Transport Hubs“ (wird in neuem Tab geöffnet) investigates whether public transport entrance design can contribute to a perception of fear. The study was carried out as Maylin's Masters research module at the TU Darmstadt – Faculty of Architecture, and was supervised by Dr. -Ing Anshika Suri.

The project was selected for poster exhibition at the conference „Staying with the Trouble – 25 years of research on women and gender studies in Hesse“, organised to commemorate the focus on women and gender research in Hessen since 1995 by the Hessian Ministry of Science and Art (HMWK).

The conference was jointly organised by the Goethe-Universität Frankfurt a. M. (Cornelia Goethe Centrum (CGC)) and the Frankfurt University for Applied Sciences (Gender- und Frauenforschungszentrum der hessischen Hochschulen (gFFZ)), with support from the HMWK.
