Urban factors influencing exercise and diabetes therapy

What is the spatial context of daily diabetes therapy in young people? What are relevant locations for playful interventions to learn and improve therapy skills? Goal of this project is to identify urban factors that influence diabetes self-managment and physical activity in young people.Preliminary study and workshop with young type-1-diabetics is being funded by the Stiftung Das zuckerkranke Kind as part of the German Diabetes Foundation.
