Wednesday Evening Lectures

The Department of Architecture has been hosting its Wednesday evening lectures since the 1970 winter semester. Each semester, renowned personalities from architecture, art and culture give insights into their work. Originally initiated by Prof. Max Bächer (Design and Interior Design), the series has been conceived and organized by Prof. Wolfgang Lorch (Design and Building Design) and his team since 2006.

The Wednesday evening lectures are the most attended, non-student lecture series at Darmstadt University of Technology. They are open to the public and free of charge and take place every Wednesday during the semester, 6:00 p.m. c.t.
