There are various possibilities: You can study at our department as a guest for one or two semesters as part of an exchange programme or obtain a Bachelor's or Master's degree as part of a regular course of study. Postgraduates can do a doctorate at the department. On our website you will find practical information about the study programmes offered, the application procedure for exchange programmes as well as about the counselling and support services such as the Buddy Programme of the department.

»Hello incoming students, my favourite places are the Hessisches Landesmuseum Darmstadt (museum) and the student arbeitssaal in the architecture building. I had a module that took place in the museum, and I just find it so relaxing to be there and they also have a very nice underground café/ restaurant. Also, I love the student arbeitssaal because it’s a great working environment plus I get to interact with more German and other Erasmus students and make new friends. »Studying at the TU Darmstadt was one of the greatest experiences I had so far. Not only was I able o explore the lovely cities within Germany with my Deutschland Ticket, meet people from all around the world through events promoted by the university, and have fun with the many activities offered on campus, but as an architecture student I was also able to enjoy the beautiful excursions, the interesting exchanges with my colleagues at the Kuhle, and the many different subjects one can study during the semester. The department of architecture is incredibly demanding, and you will no doubt spend many late nights in the architecture building working on endless submissions.
