Preserving Churches through Use
In an increasingly secular world, an irreversible development is emerging: more and more sacred buildings will no longer be needed for their original purpose in the future. This leads to vacancy, decay, resource-inefficient and economically ruinous neglect, and in some cases even demolition. It is estimated that around a quarter of all churches nationwide have become functionally redundant.
